Senior Full-Stack Cloud Engineer (UK / Europe)

Architect and ship resilient cloud-native applications for European clients with strict GDPR privacy, high performance, and modern web frameworks.

Role Overview & Mission

As Senior Full-Stack Cloud Engineer in London (Shoreditch / Remote UK), you will work closely with our European client roster. You will build highly scalable web systems using modern TypeScript, React, and Laravel/Node.js, orchestrate serverless and containerized cloud workloads on AWS, and ensure adherence to European cybersecurity and privacy standards.

Primary Tech Stack & Tools

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications and microservices.
• Build intuitive, accessible frontend user interfaces with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Implement robust backend APIs and data models in Laravel or Node.js with PostgreSQL.
• Automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform and continuous deployment via GitHub Actions.
• Ensure strict compliance with UK/EU GDPR data residency and privacy regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.
• Deep proficiency with both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Laravel/PHP or Node.js) stacks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
• Right to work in the UK (British Citizen, ILR, or valid work visa).
• Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Bonus Skills

• Experience working with distributed international engineering teams.
• Knowledge of financial technology or healthcare software standards.
